Modern conversion of a Circa 1950’s bungalow
We were asked to create a modern conversion of a Circa 1950’s bungalow which sits on a ½ acre plot.
Our design included raising the roof and a gable front to create a full height open galleried stair case and landing. By raising the roof we created enough space for Four double bedrooms with two en-suite , a large family bathroom and a large master bedroom with dressing room and a large en-suite bathroom.
The Master bedroom has a gable to the rear of the property with a full height half glass gable. The external finishes will have white render and timber cladding, dark grey metal windows and large dark grey flat roof tiles.
The ground floor will have a large open plan kitchen family room with bi-fold doors, a lounge with vaulted ceilings and a log burner, a quest bedroom with en-suite, a gym and a separate cinema room.
The build is well under way with most of the roof in place and it is hoped that the plastering with be started before the end of February 2017.
